Specification

Duties & Responsibilities:

Brand Collateral
- Ensure that opportunities and collateral are constantly updated, accurately costed, in the right format, distributed and available on agreed channels
- Assist with providing solutions for briefs based on existing products and collateral
- Come up with innovative ways to ensure all brand collateral is prominent and exposed to the sales teams
Product Development
- Proactive costings & proposal development as required by each brand
- Schedule / estimate all proactive briefs from the sales teams where no client has been allocated
- Drive the product development process together with Creative, Marketing Insights and Trade Marketing
- Create opportunities that will bring in revenue outside of radio - Digital, Video, Podcast, Social, etc.
- Respond to changes in the market and be agile around releasing product solutions that satisfy both the market and the station needs
- Work closely with the Brand Sales Managers to elicit market feedback for products and tweak products accordingly (continuous improvement cycle)

Implementation
- Project Management of Headline Event Sponsorships which includes:
o Scheduling
o Implementation & Execution (develop a detailed project plan, track progress and drive status meetings with clients and brands)
o Liaising with the relevant Campaign Manager to ensure the campaign is booked on the Traffic system and order confirmations are
sent to agency/client
o Continued communication with the relevant Campaign Manager to ensure that what flights on air is accurately represented in the schedules and the correct material is booked on TBS (adhere to all policies and procedures set out by the auditors in relation to schedule revisions)
o Compilation of the Post Campaign Analysis
- Management of Brand Activation elements (on the ground requirements only) for Event Sub-sponsorships
- Schedule and implement media partnerships (only when there’s a financial investment from clients)
- Adhere to costing principles and implement rate adjustments as and when they occur
- Assist with implementation escalation when required

Relationships & Communication
- Regular brand interaction at the brands location/ telephonically/ via Teams with particular focus on the Brand Commercial Manager and the Programme Manager
- Manage various relationships effectively in order to ensure smooth facilitation and effective operations (Brand Sales manager, Brand Commercial manager, Creative Team, Operations Team and Sales Team)
- Be the conduit for all approvals and communication from Mediamark to the brand
- Attend scheduled meetings as required including Bi-Weekly Brand Meetings with Trade Marketing and Monthly Product Meetings with Brand(s), Creative Sales Sessions, etc.
- Provide training, support and guidance to Account Managers insofar as the brand is concerned
- Maintain a positive image and relationships for the radio brand and all its business divisions within the marketplace
- Responsible for a monthly Brand NTR report
- Obtain monthly station feature lists from brands and liaise with Traffic for changes to be made on TBS and stock management thereof with the IT department
- Flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Campaign Manager Team Lead and Head of Support Services
Requirements

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Project management and product development background
- Marketing experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge of radio, social media, mobile, video, digital platforms and events and how they integrate into advertising and marketing solutions
- Excellent commercial & financial acumen


Knowledge & Skills:

- Advanced MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Excellent command of English – written and spoken

Qualifications:

- Tertiary education in marketing (preferred)
- Brand or project management courses will be beneficial
